It's almost a month 'til school is back in session and I couldn't be more excited. I made some really great friends last year who lifted my spirits, and eventually we became "sisters" and of course some crazy "brothers" were added into the mix. We did some crazy things, like spending 24hrs in cardboard boxes for chairity on a super cold nite, but of course it was still one of the best nites I'd ever had. I love all the new people in my life and couldn't be more thankful. I have a lot of things going for me, and so do the rest of my friends, study parties are definently going to be a MUST !!!

I recently watched a movie called Fireproof, its a real eye-opener. Sometimes you take things for granted, and sometimes you feel like you're unappreciated/unnecessary. I don't want to be the same way forever, I want to be me, but only better. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to change, learn, and grow with new experiences that come my way. I know I should never regret something I did, but I do. I feel like it was too soon, too fast. But I am young, and still learning every day.
I just went through the toughest six weeks of my life, but it was some of the the best times of my life. I learned soo much about myself, how strong I am now, and how weak I am as well. I am not perfect, nor will I ever be perfect, but perfect is something I can strive to be. I put on a strong front, but on the inside I'm crying and confused. I feel soo lost sometimes, and at times I wish I had all the answers. I often wonder whether or not I'll ever be truly happy with my life, where is it now ? & where is it going?

So, today is Tuesday, the day of my Mawmaw's hand surgery. I really hope it goes well without any complications. She has had numbness in her right hand for quite sometime now. The therapists tried physical therapy, however, it didn't work. But she lives by herself and won't be able to use her hand for at least six weeks. She is very strong willed and can be stubborn at times, but I hope that she lets us help her in any way we can. I was talking to her on the phone the other day, she said she was fine with the surgery, but I could sense some worry in her voice. I don't blame her at all, surgery is scary anyways, and especially at her age. I will probably be making more trips to go see her because even though she won't ask for it, I'm sure she'll appreciate any help she gets in the coming weeks. Well that's all for now.

Soo, Saturday was awesome for UC football, we beat Fairmont 21 to 7. But Sunday sucked. The Cowboys lost in Sudden Death Overtime to the Arizona Cardinals, 24 to 30. Then this week, is going to be soo busy, all thanks to midterms. After going to school today, I find out that 4 of the Cowboy players will not be returning for 2 to 4 weeks due to injuries sustained from the game. Our quarterback, Tony Romo, is suffering from a broken pinky on his right hand, so now we will have to rely on veteran Brad Johnson, who has been with the team for at least 14 years. Hopefully, his veteran skills will pay off in the later weeks while Romo is out. And then on top of all this bad news, my car gets backed into in the parking lot, denting the grill on my car & messing up the hood out of alignment. This sure made for one heck of a Monday.....I am hoping it's not going to cost too much to fix my car. I just hope this is my only bad day for this week.....wish me luck on mid-terms.
